Opposing Faction — An opposing faction consists of members who coordinate their resistance to particular leaders, decisions, or governance arrangements. Shared dissatisfaction alone does not establish that the faction seeks to take control. Its demands and actions reveal whether it pursues a specific change, challenges assigned authority, or attempts to direct the community independently. — Group Dynamics
